A practical checklist for your first day in Branson.
Before you leave
- Get your stay confirmed. Keep your room confirmation and agreed rate, payment schedule, deposit, and cancellation terms. A website inquiry alone is not a reservation.
- Confirm arrival instructions with Kurt. Ask about check-in hours, required documents, where to collect your key, and what to do if your trip is delayed.
- Book transportation through to the lodge. If flying, arrange ground transportation from your chosen airport to 3306 Shepherd of the Hills EXPY, Branson, MO 65616. Check pickup hours, luggage allowance, and total cost directly with the provider.
- For seasonal work, coordinate with your employer. Confirm your first shift and how you will reach work. International guests should also check their program sponsor’s arrival instructions.
When you arrive
Follow the arrival instructions agreed with Kurt. Ask where the laundry and shared facilities are, how to connect to Wi-Fi, and who to contact for room or maintenance questions.
Review house rules, payment dates, and any housekeeping arrangements. If your planned departure changes, discuss an extension before assuming the room is available.
